Step 2: Use the Hidden Mechanical Key
Almost every fob hides a physical key blade inside, and most cars have a concealed keyhole on the driver’s door (sometimes under a plastic cap on the handle). If the fob is dead, this gets you into the vehicle. For push-to-start cars, you can usually still start the engine by holding the fob against the start button — check your owner’s manual for the exact spot.
